On June 27, 2024, a collaboration was established between Chinese Language and Literature Study Program of Universitas Brawijaya, and PT Donlim Technology Indonesia. This company is a large Chinese company engaged in manufacturing household appliances, such as kitchen utensils, baby equipment, home care equipment, and refrigeration since 1995. PT Donlim Technology Indonesia is located in Jateng Land Industrial Park Sayung, Demak, with around 30 thousand employees.

After signing the contract, 10 Chinese Literature alumni will participate in a training program in China organized by PT Donlim Technology. One of the alumni selected to participate in this program is Iftif Sarotul Insiyah. Iftif explained that she received information about this program from her lecturers and the class group. The selection process began with sending CVs to HRD and continued with several interviews with HR and users.

The training program is intended to enable participants to learn in line with their respective departments. The knowledge gained is expected to be applied in Indonesia, while helping to train other employees there. In addition to receiving training, the alumni are also invited to do refreshing activities every week, as well as being introduced to tourist attractions and culture in China.

According to Iftif, this program is very positive because it allows alumni to get training before actually entering the real world of work. He also added that the world of work is different from university life, where only a small part of the lecture material is relevant to the needs of the workplace. In addition, the program is also a chance to explore places and cultures in China.

Chinese Literature alumni hope that this Chinese Language and Literature study program can establish more relationships and cooperation with other companies in the future. This is expected to help Chinese Literature students gain a broader view of the world of work.
