June 30, 2024 – The Magang Studi Independen Bersertifikat (MSIB) period batch 6 has ended, starting from February 16 to June 30, 2024. This program is one of the leading programs of Kampus Merdeka, which has been running for 6 batches and is directly supervised by the Ministry of Education and Culture. This program is designed for students to gain work experience and knowledge of the best practices of the industry of interest, with the benefit of converting semester credit courses on the home campus.
There are two students from class 2021 who participated in this program, namely Arindika Mefilia as a Mandarin Sales Intern and Zoraida Selvi Triandini as a Mandarin Customer Service Intern at PT Jababeka Tbk. By participating this program, students can convert full courses in the 6th semester of the Chinese Literature Study Program.
“The memorable thing is when the process of solving new problems. At first I was overthinking, because the problem seemed very heavy. For example, when translating a new topic. If you choose the wrong words, it can cause misunderstanding. However, it turns out that the problem can be solved easily thanks to the help and support of supportive coworkers,” said Arindika.
“During these four months, I have gained a lot of new relations and discovered what things need to be improved if I want to work in a professional field,” added Zora.
Both students hope that the campus can open more collaborations, especially in the industrial sector, to facilitate students to learn directly in the workplace before finally plunging into the real world of work.
