UB Chinese Literature Wins Three Awards at Chinese Bridge 2025 Regional Level

The Chinese Bridge Competition 2025 is a prestigious annual event that brings together students from various countries to showcase their Chinese language skills and talents in Chinese arts and culture. On Saturday, May 24, 2025, the 24th East Java regional competition was successfully held at Ma Chung University in Malang.

This year’s competition featured three main categories: a written test, a speech and Q&A session, and a talent show. The Chinese Literature Study Program at Universitas Brawijaya sent four talented student delegates to participate in the event.

UB Chinese Literature study program proudly secured three awards: Markus Langeng Iman Saputra (Class of 2023) won the “演讲单项奖” award, Theodora Putri Aleni Tarigan (Class of 2023) received the “最具潜质奖” award, and Citra Ayu Pradina (Class of 2023) earned the “最佳台风奖” award.

These outstanding achievements not only highlight the students’ academic proficiency in Mandarin but also demonstrate their passion, dedication, and hard work in preserving and promoting Chinese culture to a broader audience.
