Confucius Institute’s Director Visits Chinese Literature Study Program of Brawijaya University

Malang, May 28, 2025 – On Wednesday, May 28, 2025, the Chinese Literature Study Program of the Faculty of Cultural Studies, Brawijaya University received a special visit from the Director of the Confucius Institute and team. This visit is part of an effort to strengthen the cooperation between the two institutions in Chinese language and culture education.

 

The delegation was officially welcomed by the Dean of Cultural Studies Faculty of Brawijaya University, Mrs. Hamamah, Ph.D.; Vice Dean I, Mr. Sahiruddin, M.A., Ph.D.; Head of International Relations Office, Mrs. Ni Made Safitri Paramita, S.S., M.A.; and Head of Chinese Literature Study Program, Dr. Widya Caterine Perdhani, M.Pd., accompanied by lecturers from the Chinese Literature Study Program.

The agenda began at 10.00 A.M. with greetings from both parties. Furthermore, the activity continued with a discussion about the continuation of ongoing cooperation, such as sending native speaker lecturers and scholarship programs from the Confucius Institute. This discussion emphasized the commitment of both institutions to supporting the development of Chinese language and culture education, especially in the Chinese Literature environment of the Faculty of Cultural Studies Brawijaya University.
