Obor Foundation offers full scholarship for Indonesian students to further their educations in China and Macau Universities. The purpose of the scholarship is let more Indonesian students to learn about Chinese economic development and cultures thru higher educations.
Who is eligible for Obor Foundation scholarships?
- Obor Foundation offers undergraduate students who want to further their post-graduate study in China Universities and Macau Universities.
- Obor Foundation offers High school students who want to further their under-graduate study in Macau Universities

What are the requirements for Obor Foundation Scholarship recipient?
1. Excellent academics:
a. Under-graduate Applicants must have completed their SMA/SMK with excellent academic record
b. Post-graduate Applicant must have completed their bachelor degree in any field with minimum IPK 3.40
2. Non-recipient for any other awards or scholarship
3. Obtain LOA (Letter of Acceptance) from one of the universities mentioned above
How to apply Obor Foundation Scholarship?

2. Obor Foundation will review and contact the eligible applicants for final interview.
What does the scholarship cover?
1. Full Tuition fee:
a. Two to three years tuition fee for Post-graduate student
b. Four years tuition fee for under-graduate student
2. Room and board: Obor Foundation cover living and eating expenses.
What is the number of Obor Foundation Scholarship Recipient?
Obor foundation is searching for three to five scholarship recipients annually.

1. Will Obor Foundation cover languange proficiency course?
No. Obor Foundation will not cover languange proficiency course.
2. Do I have to apply a university before applying scholarship?
Yes, Applicant has to be accepted from one of the 20 selected universities and submit a LOA to apply Obor Foundation Scholarship.
3. What is LOA and How do I get a LOA?
LOA is letter of acceptance that issued by the university when students have been succesfully enrolled into the university.
4. What courses can I apply?
Obor Foundation does not limit the courses. Applicants are free to choose their preferred course.
5. Will I be able to get Obor Scholarship for other universities that is not mentioned in Obor Foundation website?
No. Obor Foundation Scholarship only limited to 20 Universities that mentioned in Obor Foundation Website.
6. I am on my final year so I do not have my final transcript. How do I apply the university?
Kindly refer to the university admission requirement. However, we suggest you to submit your previous year transcript.
7. I do not have NPWP and Pph 21 to be filled into the scholarship form. What should I do?
Kindly leave it blank.
8. Is there any deadline for applying Obor Foundation Scholarship?
There is no deadline set. You may apply for Obor Foundation Scholarship as soon as you have enrolled into the university. However please note that we have limited scholarship quota peryear.
9. Is there any apllication fee for Obor Foundation Scholarship?
No, Obor Foundation do not collect any application fee.
10. How is the selection process?
Obor Foundation will evaluate your application and selected applicant will be invited for interview.
11. How much is the montlhy boarding fee and living cost?
Obor Foundation will determine the boarding fee and living cost according to the city that you are living in.
12. In which grade I can apply for the scholarship?
We provide scholarship for bachelor degree and master programme. Please refer to university academic requirement.
13. How do I apply for university?
You can visit the university website to learn more about the admission requirement which can be found in Obor website.
14. Is there any written test or entrance test for scholarship application?
No. Only successful applicant will be invited for interview.
