The dispatch of internship lecturers from Sichuan International Studies University marks a form of cooperation with the Chinese Literature Study Program, Faculty of Cultural Studies, Universitas Brawijaya. This activity took place during one odd semester 2022/2023. There were four lecturers from Sichuan International Studies University including Luo Yi Hang, Lài Yífāng 赖怡芳, Yán Fāng 严 芳, and Zhào Yún 赵芸.
Lecturers from Sichuan International Studies University were sent to conduct teaching activities in the speaking class. This activity is carried out face-to-face with students of the Chinese Literature study program. In the teaching activities in the class, students are very active in expressing their opinions and dare to speak Chinese. The lecturers also provided a lot of innovative teaching so that there was a lot of interaction between the students and the lecturers from Sichuan International Studies University. During the speaking class, students and lecturers exchanged a lot of ideas about each other’s culture, making the teaching less monotonous and more interesting. In addition to teaching the speaking class, the native lecturers also visited SMK 1 Gedangan to share knowledge about Chinese gastronomy with students majoring in culinary.
