The Matching Fund program (MF) has been acknowledged as one of the programs under MBKM by the university. The Matching Fund program is Chinese Literature study programme’s response to the launching of PT. Solusi Ekonomi Global (SEG)’s e-commerce platform (IDNStore), and was supported by the Ministry of Commerce. This program is one of the internship programs in one of the companies that cooperates with the Chinese Literature study programme. This program aims to increase the UMKM product exports to China.
The Matching Fund was held online for 3 months starting from October to December 2021. The students that have joined the program were given different assignments and were divided into several groups, such as company profile translation, product catalog, Mandarin books and dictionary, interpreter, and translator. After completing the assignments, the students who take part in this program will later get a grade conversion according to predetermined courses such as Public Speaking, Chinese Translation, Chinese for Business and Office, and Chinese for Trade.
During the implementation of this Matching Fund program, students have the opportunity to improve their speaking skills through e-live selling of Indonesian MSME products to China. Not only improving speaking skills, but also improving language skills which include reading, writing, and listening. A total of 34 students from the 2019-2020 batch participated in this internship program. Here are some documentation during this program.
