Chinese Literature, Faculty of Cultural Sciences, University of Brawijaya was established on July 15, 2010 with the number SK 209/SK/2010, and has been accredited B with the Decree of BAN-PT Number: 1122/SK/BAN-PT/Akred/S/X/2015 .
The establishment of Chinese Literature was driven by the desire to be actively involved in global communication and cooperation, especially with China, which is currently at its peak of development in the social, political, cultural, economic and industrial fields.
When it was first opened, the Chinese Literature FCS UB had attracted prospective students. Alumni of the Chinese Literature not only master spoken and written Mandarin, but also learn Chinese culture which also provides added value to bridge the relationship between the two countries in various fields.
In a short time, the Chinese Literature has been able to develop cooperation with several universities in China and has produced qualified alumni, such as working in government offices, educational institutions, private and industrial companies, entrepreneurs, including continuing master’s education at various universities in China.
