The teaching and mentoring activities by lecturers in the Chinese Literature Study Program of Brawijaya University are implemented based on the principles of Outcome-Based Education (OBE) as well as the guidelines of the Indonesian National Qualification Framework (Kerangka Kualifikasi Nasional Indonesia). Learning activities focus on collaboration between students and lecturers in various forms, including class meetings, practicum, community service, and other academic activities. The program also supports the concept of Merdeka Belajar Kampus Merdeka (MBKM), which allows students to engage in off-campus activities such as research and humanitarian programs.
UB Chinese Literature lecturers have diverse qualifications, most of them are graduates of leading universities in China, such as Guangxi Normal University and Huazhong University of Science and Technology, and have expertise in Chinese applied linguistics. Some foreign lecturers who teach in this study program also support the learning of Mandarin by using international standards. In addition, lecturers utilize digital technology such as Virtual Learning Management (VLM) to manage online learning, especially during the pandemic, using platforms such as Zoom, Google Classroom, and others.
International cooperation is also an important part of the development of this study program. Students are allowed to join exchange programs and study abroad, which enriches their learning experience.
