The learning process in the Chinese Literature Study Program of Brawijaya University applies the principle of Outcome-Based Education (OBE). With this principle, the teaching process is expected not only to focus on distributing knowledge but also to produce outcomes that are useful for students to enter the world of work later. And learning can run innovatively, interactively, and effectively. To realize OBE-based learning, Chinese Literature Study Program also uses a variety of learning resources ranging from printed and digital textbooks, research journals, infographics, videos, and other media.
For access to learning resources, the Faculty of Cultural Sciences provides broad access for all FIB students through library facilities located in the Self Access Center (SAC) FIB A Building which is equipped with printed and digital textbooks. In addition, students of the Chinese Literature study program can access digital research journals both national and international on the website platform repository.ub.ac.id at the campus level, or journalbudaya.ub.ac.id. at the faculty level. Web-based learning platforms, such as E-Learning called Brone are also used to manage online classes. For example, as shown in the picture above, UB Chinese Literature Study Program lecturers use a web-based application, Brone, to deliver Mandarin Language in the Field of Trade course material. In addition, Chinese Literature Study Program lecturers also provide other learning materials in the form of PowerPoint, infographics, videos, and other interactive media. All of this aims to support a more innovative, interactive, and effective learning process.
