Description

This course provides the experience of exploring, discovering by discussing concepts and knowledge, making analyses, as well as applying theories about morphology and syntax of the Chinese language. These theories include: 1) the process of forming a word, phrase, clause, and sentence, 2) the function and position of the word syntactically, 3) the formation of phrases, clauses, and sentences using tree diagrams. At the end of the lecture, students are expected to acquire coherent knowledge of the morphology and syntax of Chinese and are able to produce simple research in the form of scientific articles related to this course. The evaluation is carried out through a structured assessment of the accumulation of class participation, project assignments, quizzes, and midterm and final examinations

Assessment Methods

The test/evaluation method is carried out through structured assignments, Project, giving quizzes, Midterm Examinations, and Final Semester Examinations (UAS and participation in class. The final grade in this lecture is obtained through the formula or calculation below.
